Job Overview:

STS Aviation Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aircraft Maintenance Production Manager to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for managing the production planning deliverables, supporting the implementation and maintenance of scheduling management systems, and proactively communicating any divergence from the plan to the Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Production Planning deliverables, ensuring that the STS procedures and standards are complied with when carrying out Base maintenance.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of scheduling management systems, ensuring that the Production working environment is appropriate to the tasks being undertaken.
  • Proactively communicate any divergence from the plan to the Operations Manager, ensuring that the critical path and working constraints are analyzed to determine the effect of changes to schedule and recommend alternative scenarios.
  • Develop and update weekly short interval schedules in consultation with the customer Operation Manager, Customer, and planning team.
  • Ensure that the availability of sufficient competent personnel to plan, perform, supervise, inspect, and certify the work being performed in the ORS facility.
  • Support the Planning Team to assist with the day-to-day sequencing of Aircraft work, ensuring that the competence of all personnel engaged in Production is maintained.
  • Notify the Operations Manager whenever available man-hours for Production reduce below 75% over a period of 1 calendar month.
  • Responsible for ensuring all H&S are complied with in Production.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of the EASA Part 145 Production requirements.
  • Completed an engineering apprenticeship- ideally in Aeronautical engineering.
  • Minimum of 20 years aircraft experience.
  • Previous aircraft production structures supervisory experience.
  • Previous structures modification supervisory experience.
  • Experienced in working in a customer-controlled environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and organizational skills.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications.
