Aircraft Maintenance Operations Manager

Position Overview:
  • Seeking a collaborative individual eager to grow and excel within a dynamic organization.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong self-motivation, natural leadership qualities, and outstanding English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Oversee the deliverables related to Production Planning.
  • Aid in the establishment and upkeep of scheduling management systems.
  • Proactively inform the Operations Manager of any deviations from the established plan.
  • Evaluate the critical path and operational constraints to assess the impact of schedule changes and propose alternative solutions.
  • Collaborate with the customer Operations Manager, clients, and planning team to develop and refine the weekly short interval schedule.
  • Ensure adherence to STS procedures and standards during Base maintenance activities.
  • Assist the Planning Team in the daily sequencing of Aircraft tasks.
  • Guarantee the availability of qualified personnel to plan, execute, supervise, inspect, and certify the work conducted in the facility.
  • Ensure a suitable Production working environment for the tasks at hand.
  • Confirm the availability of necessary tools, equipment, and materials for the planned operations.
  • Ensure the competency of all personnel involved in Production activities.
  • In addition to the aforementioned responsibilities, Production Managers are also tasked with:
  • Notifying the Operations Manager if available man-hours for Production fall below 75% over a one-month period.
  • Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety regulations in Production.
Qualifications:
  • Comprehensive understanding of EASA Part 145 Production standards.
  • Completion of an engineering apprenticeship, preferably in Aeronautical engineering.
  • At least 20 years of experience in the aircraft industry.
  • Prior supervisory experience in aircraft production structures.
  • Previous supervisory experience in structures modification.
  • Proven experience in a customer-controlled environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
