About the Role

We are seeking a Procurement Professional - IT Category to join our team at Nextport. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sourcing strategies for the IT category.

Your primary objective will be to optimize cost savings, quality, and supplier performance across the IT supply chain. To achieve this, you will conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, potential suppliers, and innovative solutions within the IT industry.

You will partner with IT / Technology Leadership to align strategic IT initiatives with Procurement strategies and Business objectives. This will involve understanding the IT supplier contract portfolio to identify synergy opportunities, expiring contracts and optimization needs.

In addition, you will lead supplier identification, evaluation, selection, and contract negotiation processes to secure favorable terms and conditions. You will also manage supplier relationships and performance through regular reviews, KPI tracking, and performance improvement initiatives.

Furthermore, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance Procurement processes, efficiency, and effectiveness within the IT category. You will ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements throughout the procurement lifecycle.

Finally, you will monitor and mitigate risks associated with the IT supply chain, including geopolitical, financial, and operational risks.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. An MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.

You should have around seven years' proven experience in IT procurement, strategic sourcing, and supplier management roles, preferably in a multinational organization.

You will possess a deep understanding of IT products and services, including hardware, software, cloud services, and telecommunications.

Additionally, you will have knowledge of contract law, procurement regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.

You will have demonstrated track record of successfully managing complex procurement projects and driving cost savings initiatives.

You will be proficient in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

You will have fluent communication skills in English and Spanish.

You will bring strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, conduct financial analysis, and make data-driven decisions.

You will have excellent Project Management, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

You will be proactive, results-oriented, and adaptable to change with a continuous improvement mindset.

You will have the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change within the organization.
