About the Role
The Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) is seeking a highly skilled Researcher to join our Propulsion Technologies Group (PTG). As a Researcher, you will play a key role in the development of Digital Twins for the steel manufacturing industry, leveraging high-performance computing and artificial intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop reduced-order models for the furnace using machine learning-based algorithms and methods.
- Interact with industrial partners to identify relevant data for model development.
- Assist in the integration of Digital Twins for real-time furnace operation.
Requirements
- PhD Degree in Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace with a background in fluid mechanics and thermal systems.
