We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Archer Daniels Midland Company in Madrid, Spain. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Effectively match receivables with invoices and reconcile AR accounts.
- Timely collection of outstanding balances from customers and resolution of customer complaints.
- Support month-end AR closing activities and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on treasury tasks and other accounting activities.
Requirements:
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proficiency in Spanish and English languages.
- 2-3 years of experience in an accounting department.
- Knowledge of standard cost systems, cost analysis, and general accounting procedures.
- Experience in month-end closing activities, reconciliation of balance sheets, and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and statistical data management skills.
- SAP knowledge in FI and CC modules.
- Netsuit system knowledge is a plus.
