The Role

We're seeking a Cloud Security Architect to join our Information Security division. As a key member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing the security posture of our organisation's critical assets and providing expertise during the design and development of our products and features.

Responsibilities
  1. Actively engage with our talented software engineers to embed and mature security practices in the design, development, and deployment of our products.
  2. Utilise your expertise in secure cloud architecture (mainly GCP, AWS) and containerised environments (Kubernetes) to perform architecture reviews and threat modeling of cutting-edge financial products.
  3. Identify design flaws and recommend changes or improvements during the design phase of the product lifecycle.
  4. Actively participate in our Security Champions initiative, collaborating with cross-functional teams and advocating for security best practices throughout the organisation.
  5. Assist in integrating security practices and application security tools in CI/CD pipelines.
  6. Risk assess and prioritise security threats and findings based on their impact and likelihood, providing recommendations to our engineering teams.
  7. Help develop enterprise-grade security systems by establishing security requirements with a defence-in-depth approach that seamlessly integrates with the business and technology strategy.
Requirements
  • Experience in collaborating closely with software engineers and system administrators.
  • Extensive experience in performing architecture reviews and threat modeling for products and applications.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in securing cloud environments (GCP, Azure, and AWS), as well as applications hosted on these platforms.
