Job Summary

Colt is seeking a highly skilled Site Manager to oversee the Mechanical and Electrical infrastructure at our node sites and Long Distance Network repeater containers in Spain and Portugal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our infrastructure, implementing planned preventative maintenance programs, and supporting business-as-usual day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Mechanical and Electrical infrastructure at Colt node sites and Long Distance Network repeater containers
  • Implement planned preventative maintenance programs to ensure optimum performance
  • Support business-as-usual day-to-day operations, including maintenance and repair of existing infrastructure
  • Monitor energy efficiency and drive cost savings
  • Manage maintenance costs and ensure compliance with ISO14001, ISO27001, and ISO9001/20000 standards
  • Lead third-party M&E maintenance providers' resources and manage their day-to-day operational needs
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain site stability and support network expansions or equipment rationalization projects
  • Manage site OPEX budget and ensure effective control of business-as-usual day-to-day operations
Requirements
  • Experience working with medium/large mission-critical Mechanical and Electrical infrastructures in a supervisory/technical/engineering capacity
  • Technical competence in electrical, mechanical, and/or cooling disciplines, including transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, DC Systems, ATS/STS units, PDU units, chillers, air handling units, RCU/CRAC units
  • Strong familiarity with EU safety regulations and controls
  • Demonstrated skills in requirements gathering, resource organization, task prioritization, scheduling
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage high work volumes and work well under pressure
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken), with other languages a plus
