Job Summary

As a Site Operations Manager at Colt Technology Services Group, you will be responsible for managing the Mechanical & Electrical infrastructure safely across all assigned Colt node sites and Long Distance Network (LDN) repeater containers in conjunction with the Regional Operations Manager.

To ensure optimum performance, you will implement the Planned Preventative Maintenance program, with effective control of Business As Usual day-to-day operations.

You will support the M&E operations at Colt Node and Long Distance Network repeater sites facilities in Spain and Portugal, operating a safe and maintain a reliable infrastructure, in accordance with agreed procedures and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective management of building services through third-party contractors
  • Ensure site cleanliness through third-party contractors
  • Installation of mechanical & electrical infrastructures for assigned sites
  • Support successful compliance of ISO14001 (Environmental), ISO27001 (Information Security Management System), ISO9001 / Quality & Service Management System
  • Business As Usual, day-to-day operational running of sites
  • Maintenance and repair of existing infrastructure
  • Monitoring of all infrastructure, ensuring all remote & local BMS monitoring is fully functional
  • Completing capacity reports when requested
  • Monitoring of energy efficiency and proactively drive & record savings
  • Managing maintenance costs
  • Writing of standard and emergency operations procedures and training of operatives staff
  • Available for out of hours planned and reactive support, which can involve switching of HV & MV systems and supporting any generating routine testing

Liaise with Landlord representatives and keep the JCAD risk register up to date with current operational risks.
