Zurich Insurance Internal Controls Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Zictt Specialist to join our team at Zurich Insurance. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing independent and objective assessment of the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute internal controls testing activities for assigned reporting units.
- Support senior and/or manager in analyzing financial reporting risks and completion.
- Test sensitive controls with highly confidential evidence.
- Support the ICFR Testing Team in ad-hoc ICFR/CECS/ICIF testing related tasks and projects.
- Complete deliverables in a timely and accurate manner as assigned by the ICFR/CECS/ICIF Testing Senior and/or Manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or equivalent.
- 1+ years of postgraduate experience in internal controls, compliance, or audit.
- Knowledge of Finance & Accounting processes and controls or Audit is a pre-requisite.
- English and Spanish C1; fluency in Portuguese is highly desirable.
- Previous experience dealing with global/regional audit or internal controls engagements will be viewed as a strong asset - preferably in SOX environment.
- Recognized accounting or audit qualification e.g. CIA, CPA, ACCA or CIMA as additional plus or willingness to pursue it.
- Knowledge of Organization and Control Environments, Audit Risk Assessment, Internal & External Audit Standards.
