Internal Controls Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled ZICTT Specialist to join our team at Zurich Insurance Group. As a ZICTT Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing independent and objective assessment of the design and operating effectiveness of our internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute internal controls testing activities for assigned Reporting Units (RU).
- Support Senior and/or Manager in analyzing financial reporting risks and ensuring compliance with Zurich Policies and Guidelines.
- Test sensitive controls with highly confidential evidence.
- Support the ICFR Testing Team in ad-hoc ICFR/CECS/ICIF testing related tasks and projects.
- Complete deliverables in a timely and accurate manner as assigned by the ICFR/CECS/ICIF Testing Senior and/or Manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- 1+ years of postgraduate experience in internal controls, compliance, or audit.
- Knowledge of Finance & Accounting processes and controls or Audit.
- English and Spanish C1 fluency.
- Portuguese fluency highly desirable.
- Previous experience dealing with global/regional audit or internal controls engagements.
- Recognized accounting or audit qualification (e.g., CIA, CPA, ACCA, or CIMA) or willingness to pursue it.
- Knowledge of Organization and Control Environments, Audit Risk Assessment, Internal & External Audit Standards.
