Job Title: Procurement Leader for EMEA Materials and ServicesSalary: €80,000 - €120,000 per year
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced Procurement Leader to join our team in Asturias, Spain. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading the corporate materials & services (CMS) category in the EMEA region.
In this role, you will develop, maintain, and execute strategies to source a competitive and cost-effective regional portfolio of materials & services related to finance, HR, fleet, marketing & communications, professional services, travel & entertainment, and more.
You will manage relationships with key suppliers, ensure alignment with our business objectives, and participate in Category teams to align sourcing strategies with global, regional, and local business needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop strong sourcing capabilities within IFF in EMEA that support the organization in delivering successful corporate materials and services regionally.
- Maintain connections with the main internal stakeholders to understand demand and future trends in their needs.
- Develop regional category strategies for your categories to ensure objectives are met, with the lowest life cycle costs.
- Implement strategies within the portfolio, driving results and achieving strategic objectives.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Science/Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience.
- Related experience in the space operating around services procurement, supplier relationship management (>> 10 years).
- CPSM or SPSM or related certification in supply chain or procurement excellence.
- Strong knowledge of business practices and financial concepts/impact/analyses.
- Solid financial acumen ideally acquired through a commodity procurement role (involving hedging).
- Strong people skills, project management, and experience in cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent oral and written skills in English.
