We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware Engineer to lead the development of Electrical Engineering solutions for various applications, including automotive, aerospace, and maritime. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and driving improvements in our Hardware Engineering systems.
Key Responsibilities- Electrical Engineering Design and Development: Design and develop electrical systems for commercial and in-house projects, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards.
- Interface Management: Act as an interface between the HW engineering team and other teams for a dedicated program, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that developed systems align with appropriate regulations and standards, such as ISO 26262 and IEC 61508.
- Process Improvement: Drive improvements in Hardware Engineering systems within BOLD, identifying areas for optimization and implementing changes.
- Testing and Validation: Contribute to the testing and validation of Electrical Engineering systems, planning, and results review.
- Documentation and Design: Develop and review associated documentation, layouts, schematics, simulations, test reports, and system architecture for Electrical Engineering solutions.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a company with a similar focus on Electrical Engineering.
- Skills: Excellent skills in hardware design, development, and testing, as well as experience with EV vehicle architecture, High Voltage, and vehicle requirements from an Electrical Engineering perspective.
- Software Proficiency: Excellent proficiency in SCH and PCB layout design using Altium, as well as experience with microcontrollers, embedded systems, and FPGA design.
- Language: English language proficiency is required.
- Experience with Battery Systems: Remarkable experience with battery systems or working with electric vehicle developments and electromechanical components.
- Additional Skills: Excellent skills in soldering stations, simulating PCBs with Altium, and Ansys/Altair, as well as experience with functional safety standards.
- Language: Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
