Senior Scientist, Translational IPS, Computational Biology Expert

Bristol Myers Squibb is at the forefront of therapeutic innovation, working to transform the lives of cancer patients. We are seeking a computational biologist to join our Translational IPS team as a Senior Scientist.
Key Responsibilities:- Use advanced computational methods to identify molecular subtypes with unmet need in oncological diseases.
- Conduct in-depth analyses to uncover key biological themes and disease mechanisms driving disease subtypes.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to pinpoint potential therapeutic targets.
- Contribute to accurately represent key disease states in ex-vivo models and other validation scenarios.
- Work closely with experimental teams in the iterative process of validation of therapeutic candidates and/or mechanistic hypotheses.
- Summarize findings and report conclusions to BMS decision-making bodies.
- PhD with 2+ years of experience in computational biology, bioinformatics, or related fields.
- Advanced skills in a high-level programming language such as R or Python for data analysis and visualization.
- Experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industries is a plus.
