We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Specialist to join our Data Management and Landscape Transformation team at SAP. Key Responsibilities- Customer Needs Identification
Work closely with customers to identify their business needs and support the design and architecture of the appropriate solution proposal from our Data Management & Landscape Transformation portfolio.
Feasibility Studies and System AnalysesConduct thorough feasibility studies and system analyses, utilizing SAP DMLT technology and methodology to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Customer Workshops and DiscussionsLead and facilitate customer workshops and discussions to validate the best solution design for their requirements, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.
Data Migration and Conversion SolutionsArchitect scalable and robust data migration/conversion solutions that adhere to SAP best practices and financial industry standards, guaranteeing the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Project Delivery and CollaborationSupport and/or lead the delivery of DMLT projects remotely and onsite, working closely with distributed regional and global teams to ensure successful project execution.
Technical Expertise and GuidanceProvide deep expertise in SAP FI/CO data migration and conversion tools and technologies, guiding customer teams to make informed decisions and ensuring the successful implementation of financial data migration and conversion initiatives.
Technical Specifications and DocumentationDevelop and document precise technical specifications, data mapping, and transformation rules, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data and facilitating smooth project execution.
Issue Resolution and TroubleshootingMonitor and troubleshoot data migration/conversion processes, proactively identifying and resolving technical issues to ensure project success.
Service Enhancement and InnovationSupport internal initiatives to further enhance existing or develop new, finance-related DMLT services and solutions, staying current with the latest advancements in SAP FI/CO data migration technologies and industry trends.
Requirements- Education and Experience
University degree (Bachelor/Master) or equivalent relevant job experience, with a strong background in SAP S/4 HANA FI and/or CO, as well as experience in at least one additional of the following modules: FI-AA, CO-PA, CO-PS, EC-PCA, FSCM, FI-CA.
Functional Expertise and ExperienceDeep functional expertise in SAP S/4 HANA FI and/or CO, with experience in at least one additional of the following modules: FI-AA, CO-PA, CO-PS, EC-PCA, FSCM, FI-CA, as well as strong experience with roll out of Company Codes in the context of Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestitures.
System Conversion and Migration ExperienceExperience with System Conversion scenario to S/4HANA (aka Brownfield), migrating to S/4 HANA Finance and SPRO configuration for Finance conversion, as well as strong experience working with customer's project teams to define the functional and technical specification towards implementation for Finance module for S/4HANA in greenfield scenario.
SAP Consulting ExperienceMinimum 7 years (preferably international) SAP consulting experience, with SAP DMLT tools and methodology and data migration/conversion experience being a strong plus.
Integration and Process KnowledgeIntegration and process know-how for essential business processes like Lead-2-Cash, Procure-2-Pay, Design-2-Operate or Hire-2-Retire being a plus.
Technical Skills and KnowledgeUnderstanding of the SAP FI/CO data models and technical structures, as well as ABAP Programming skills being a plus.
Soft Skills and Personal QualitiesHave analytical and logical skills, critical thinking, attention to detail & problem-solving skills, strong networking skills, a positive customer centric work attitude, excellent communication and moderation skills, strong team spirit, and excellent written and spoken English.
