**Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Cloud Operations team at Canonical. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of our cloud operations strategy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software and services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of engineers in the development and implementation of cloud operations solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
- Develop and maintain sound software architecture and best practices in software quality, testing, and documentation
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
- Work with the leadership team to develop and implement the company's overall strategy and vision
- Proven experience in cloud operations and software engineering
- Strong technical leadership and management skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes operations
- Proven experience in developing Python frameworks and understanding of stable consumable APIs
