Job Responsibilities
As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Designing multi-disciplinary municipal water projects, including reviewing engineering design calculations and preparing conceptual process engineering design deliverables;
- Participating in HAZOP studies and design reviews;
- Liaising with mechanical/piping, draughting, civil/structural, electrical and control systems engineering teams to assist with bid/tenders;
- Preparing detailed contract specifications, including equipment selection and liaison with equipment suppliers and vendors;
- Providing technical leadership to contractors to ensure clients' quality requirements are met;
- Conducting planning studies, model, and hydraulic/treatment calculations;
- Maintaining and developing healthy client relationships throughout the project execution and close-out.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering or equivalent;
- A minimum of 7 years' experience within water treatment systems design;
- Experience as technical/design/project lead with multi-discipline design teams on moderate to complex treatment projects;
- The ability to work independently on projects ensuring delivery to scope, time, budget, and quality requirement;
- Proven track record in delivering outputs to tight time frames and within fixed budgets.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary package, including an estimated salary of £85,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, health insurance, and opportunities for career development.
