About This Role

As a Research and Resolution Specialist at Global Payments, Inc., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of cardholder accounts. Your primary responsibility will be to research and respond to customer requests, ensuring compliance with client, regulatory, and Association rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and update cardholder accounts, utilizing extensive knowledge of banking products and services.
  • Recognize potential fraud, credit, collection, and chargeback issues and forward them to the appropriate department.
  • Assist with routine updates and documentation of cardholder accounts, following client policies and procedures.
  • Validate report disputes from credit bureau systems, adhering to client standards and regulations.
  • Pick up, review, sort, and distribute mail for appropriate action, as directed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • No relevant experience is typically required, but a strong desire to learn and grow with our company is essential.

We are looking for individuals with:

  • Strong knowledge of government regulations, client policies, and Association compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with cardholders, clients, and vendors.
  • Proficiency in applicable software, including Lotus Notes, Global Payments Applications, onBase, Microsoft Office, and Credit Bureau systems.
