Junior Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:- Support the design team in various tasks related to plastic parts development, including attending internal meetings, preparing meeting agendas, and documenting meeting outcomes.
- Generate PDM sheets, coordinate and maintain the Bill of Materials (BOM) with the department, and create and maintain projects.
- Lead activities related to the customer design checklist, prepare modification sheets, and prepare presentations for internal meetings, including submission of approval documents and inspection reports.
- Prepare type approval documentation, develop recycling and recovery concepts, and create and maintain project 2D drawings, homologation drawings, and detailed exploded drawings of bumper components.
- Maintain project part history documentation and support in the assembly of bumper parts for development activities, including validation tests and cubings.
- Support bumper fine-tuning activities by analyzing and documenting mock-ups, preparing documentation for scopa changes, and updating 3D and 2D linked to fine-tuning activities.
- 1 year of relevant professional or studies experience.
- Ability to work on-site at the location in Sant Andreu de la Barca, Catalonia, Spain.
- Proficiency or willingness to learn Catia V5, with a focus on plastic parts development.
- Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English to effectively collaborate with team members and attend internal meetings.
- Junior-level CAD designer with a keen interest in the automotive industry and a desire to contribute to the development of high-quality products.
