Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our management and leadership team, as well as assisting employees with internal and external transfer requests and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with hiring processes, including coordinating applicant drug screens, reference checks, background checks, and social security number verification
  • Maintain applicant flow, drug screen, orientation, and transfer request logs
  • Create and maintain new hire and personnel files, and enter them into Human Resources Information Systems
  • Assist with orientation of new employees and monitor all hiring and recruitment processes for compliance with local, state, and federal laws and company policies
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files, including interview documents and I-9's
  • Support processing and maintenance of payroll records in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Inform Human Resources management of issues related to employee relations within the division or property
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and support team to reach common goals
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Related work experience in Human Resources or a related field
