About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Fund Accountant to join our team at Apex Group in Valencia, Spain. As a Junior Fund Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining a high-performing team across several jurisdictions, working closely with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of our fund accounting services.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Monitoring: Monitor and record daily cash activity, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to clients.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare daily journal entries and monthly reconciliations, maintaining the highest standards of financial accuracy and compliance.
- Team Support: Collaborate with the team to support year-end audits, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion.
- Transaction Tracking: Track portfolio company transactions, including purchases, income, and liquidity, to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Requirements
- Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English.
- Technical Skills: Excellent Excel and data analytical skills, with the ability to work with complex financial data.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
