We are a team of skilled engineers responsible for creating, developing, improving, and maintaining all Fever services. Our goal is to provide an amazing experience for our users, and we're looking for a talented Senior Backend Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our team in Spain. The ideal candidate will have outstanding software development talent, a passion for code quality, and a strong desire to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in team planning, grooming, and retrospectives
  • Get familiar with Fever's tech stack, including frameworks, CI/CD workflows, and infrastructure
  • Contribute to the development of production-grade Python code
  • Participate in hackdays and hackathons with other teams
  • Mentor junior team members through code reviews and pair programming
  • Contribute to the launch of new microservices

  • Contribute to the development of new features and improvements to existing services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code that meets our standards
  • Participate in the growth and development of the engineering team

Requirements

  • Strong background in software development, with a focus on backend engineering
  • Excellent coding skills, with a strong understanding of Python and relevant frameworks
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Passion for code quality and a desire to continuously improve
