The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a highly skilled software developer with a strong background in Java and Scala. The ideal candidate will have experience in software development, Scala development, and familiarity with core technologies such as Akka, ZIO, Play, and Spark.

Responsibilities

  1. Design and develop software applications using Java and Scala
  2. Maintain and improve existing software applications
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions

Requirements

  • Proven experience in software development (Java or other JVM-based languages)
  • Experience in Scala development on production and non-production projects
  • Familiarity with core technologies such as Akka, ZIO, Play, and Spark
  • Knowledge of libraries including Circe, Cats, Cats Effect, Slick, Doobie, HTTP4S, Shapeless, and Monix
  • Experience with databases such as RDBMS, MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, and Elastic Search
  • Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka and RabbitMQ
  • Understanding of microservices architecture, DDD, Event Sourcing, and CQRS
  • Proficiency in containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
