About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and proactive Senior Frontend Developer (L2) to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced work environment.
As a key member of our development team, you will collaborate closely with the Frontend Lead, Product Owners, and UI/UX designers to build and enhance our digital platform.
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to various aspects of frontend development, from translating design concepts into high-quality React components to participating in discussions about production infrastructure.
As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will take ownership of critical components, lead technical decisions, and mentor junior developers. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the future of our projects, ensuring scalability, performance, and exceptional user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of high-impact features using modern frontend technologies.
- Architect scalable, efficient, and maintainable solutions for complex challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, backend engineers, and product owners, to deliver seamless and intuitive web applications.
- Ensure code quality through best practices, including e2e testing, code reviews, and performance optimization.
- Identify and address potential technical challenges proactively, ensuring robust and secure solutions.
- Innovate by implementing the latest trends and advancements in the React ecosystem, continuously improving our tech stack.
- Participate in strategic planning, Scrum-based team sprints, and discussions related to production infrastructure, contributing to technical decision-making.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, driving improvements in development processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior developers, fostering their growth and development within the team.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Frontend Developer.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS (Bootstrap, Tailwind, etc.), JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
- Familiar with Git (Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket), JIRA, Confluence, and Slack.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
