About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Unity Developer to join our team at Fundació i2cat, a non-profit research and innovation center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Unity development, with experience in C# and 2D/3D graphics. Additionally, knowledge of C++ and Unreal Engine is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve the Holoconference Unity SDK called HoloMIT
  • Implement new features and integrate in-house new Holographic pipelines and optimizations
  • Collaborate with experts in the media and networks domains on cutting-edge research and innovation tasks
  • Contribute to high-impact scientific publications and technology/knowledge transfer

Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' professional development experience
  • Proficiency with Unity3D
  • Hands-on experience in the graphics sector, better if in immersive technologies (XR, VR, AR)
  • Robust expertise in C#, 2D/3D graphics, and memory management
  • Software and architecture design skills
  • Experience with agile development and scrum methodology
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Android or Standalone platforms
  • Knowledge of C++
  • Knowledge of Unreal Engine
