About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Unity Developer to join our development team at the i2CAT Foundation. As a Unity Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the Holoconference Unity SDK called HoloMIT, implementing new features, integrating in-house new Holographic pipelines and optimizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve the HoloMIT Unity SDK
  • Implement new features and integrate in-house new Holographic pipelines and optimizations
  • Collaborate with experts in the media and networks domains on cutting-edge research, innovation, and development tasks
  • Contribute to high-impact scientific publications, technology/knowledge transfer, and career development opportunities
About the Team

The i2CAT Foundation is a non-profit research and innovation center that promotes mission-driven R&D activities on advanced Internet architectures, applications, and services. Our team is composed of experienced researchers and engineers in the fields of distributed and interactive multimedia systems and media processing.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' professional development experience, ideally within teams of at least 5 people
  • Proficiency with Unity3D
  • Hands-on experience in the graphics sector, better if in immersive technologies (XR, VR, AR)
  • Proficient programming skills, grounded in knowledge of industry best practices and techniques
  • Robust expertise in C#, 2D/3D graphics, and memory management
  • Software and architecture design skills
  • Experience with agile development and scrum methodology
