About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at PepsiCo. As a key member of our Global business in Barcelona, you will be part of a growing team responsible for creating and supporting global digital developments for PepsiCo around topics related to Revenue Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Logistics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy statistical/machine learning models to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with process owners, product owners, and business users to understand business needs and provide data-driven insights.
  • Work with data engineers to ensure data access and preparation for model usage.
  • Partner with ML engineers to industrialize models and improve their accuracy.
  • Communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders and influence business decisions.
Requirements
  • Experience in building solutions in the FP&A space.
  • Strong skills in statistical/ML techniques, including time series forecasting.
  • Proficiency in ETL and data wrangling techniques, including SQL.
  • Experience with industry tools, particularly Python development.
  • Ability to work in a team to deliver production-level solutions.
