Global Master Data Specialist

Sulzer is a leading engineering company with a proud heritage of innovation. We are seeking a highly skilled Global Master Data Specialist to join our Services_HQ team in Spain.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and/or support projects related to Master Data Management, driving continuous improvement and process enhancements.
  • Establish and/or revise global regulations applicable for Sulzer Services Division, ensuring seamless roll-out and training for global end-users.
  • Guide and support projects for data enrichment, focusing on data quality and accuracy.
  • Support Sulzer Services CRM or Customer Master Data portal data governance, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
  • Build and maintain data quality dashboards, databases, and regulations (QlikView/QlikSense or similar), troubleshooting issues and reviewing logics and reports as per business requests.
  • Coach and support global end-users and the Sulzer Services BI Team on data-related topics and governance.
  • Create data transformations for ad-hoc analysis, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
  • Lead investigations of gaps in ERP processes leading to inaccurate information, initiating measurements for improvement and supporting the Sulzer IT team during development and implementation of those improvement actions.
  • Govern tool user access management and maintain central mapping files.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably with a BI/Big Data/Business Analytics Master.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar international role, working as a Business Partner.
  • Sound knowledge in databases, data governance, analytics, workflows, process definition and documentation, project management.
  • Good communication skills in English, written and verbal, with other languages considered a plus.
  • Highly numerical and analytical, with experience in SAP/MSD, Qlik, SFDC, Python, etc.
