Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance and Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Data Governance team, you will be responsible for providing insights and guidance to various members of the data community, empowering them to effectively fulfill their roles.
You will support continuous improvement and change management initiatives related to the implementation of data governance guidelines, frameworks, and rules established by the Data Governance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Governance Coordination team to provide insights and guidance to various members of the data community.
- Support continuous improvement and change management initiatives related to the implementation of data governance guidelines, frameworks, and rules.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy to disseminate Data Guidelines, Frameworks, and standards defined at the global level.
- Assist in the design, definition, and implementation of effective data governance practices and tools.
- Facilitate workshops aimed at steering and implementing data governance and management processes.
- Conduct audits to evaluate data governance and proper data handling on prioritized projects or regions.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or IT-related field.
- 3-5 years of project management or data management experience.
- High affinity for organizational communication and excellent presentation skills.
- Deep knowledge and experience in data management ecosystems and data governance.
- Good understanding of data sharing, data protection, data demand management, data quality, and knowledge management concepts.
- Proven experience as a Data Governance, Data Architect, or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices.
- Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in data management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail.
