Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our newly formed Data Science and Analytics team. As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in the development of our Dynamic Pricing model and Advanced analytics features.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement machine learning models for dynamic pricing of vacation rental properties.
- Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and identify trends and patterns.
- Collaborate with Data Analysts and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
- Work closely with Data Engineers to ensure data availability, quality, and accessibility for modeling.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of deployed models, making necessary adjustments to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in machine learning, AI, and data science. The ideal candidate will have:
- Masters or a relevant degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a similar field.
- 3-5 years of experience in developing and/or implementing machine learning models.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Programming language such as Python.
- Experience of working with Machine learning libraries and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of different modeling techniques and statistical analytics.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management.
- Experience of working with large datasets.
