Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Financial Accountant to join our team in Málaga. As a key member of our Finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Upload bank statements into our accounting system.
- Download and save bank documentation supporting all financial transactions.
- Manage the reconciliation of more than 70 general ledger accounts.
- Reconcile all accounts payable and receivable transactions on a weekly basis against the bank data.
- Prepare journal entries associated with bank statements.
- Review all bank account reconciliation.
- Assist internal and external auditors.
Requirements
- Team player, fast learner, able to multitask and prioritize workload appropriately.
- 2-3 years experience, ideally working in the financial services industry.
- A high level in Microsoft Excel or Google Suite is a must.
- Flexibility with changing requirements in an evolving and fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and an ability to build and leverage cross-functional relationships.
- High level of English.
