Financial Accountant - Accounts Payable

Ebury, a leading FinTech firm, is seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join its Central Málaga office. As a key member of the Finance team, you will be responsible for processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices, making payments, and controlling expenses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
  • Make timely payments to vendors and employees, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
  • Manage vendor queries and resolve any issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Reconcile processed work, verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
  • Maintain accurate accounting ledgers, verifying and posting account transactions
  • Prepare analyses of accounts and produce monthly reports, providing insights to inform business decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
Requirements:
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices
  • University degree in Accounting, Business Management, Economics, or a related field
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and ERP systems, such as NetSuite or Oracle
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
