Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Software Development Team Lead to join our Engineering Department in Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team focused on Client Evolution development. Responsibilities:- Understand company and client challenges and identify opportunities to integrate AI capabilities
- Manage product priorities and make informed decisions
- Represent the team in different forums and collaborate with stakeholders
- Foster technical decision-making on the team and drive efficiencies and best practices
- Draft and review quarterly Engineering KPIs for your team and implement automation tools and processes to improve efficiency
- Participate in the design and implementation of new systems and services to ensure they meet reliability and scalability requirements
- Manage team performance, develop career paths, and provide coaching and mentoring to team members
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies, tools, and practices
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in managing teams
- In-depth knowledge of performance metrics, organizational and time-management skills, and decision-making skills
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems, cloud infrastructure, networking, and databases
- Proven experience in designing and implementing highly available and scalable applications
- Hands-on experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English both written and spoken
