Data Center Facilities Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Facilities Engineer to join our team at Kyndryl. As a key member of our Data Center Services practice, you will be responsible for delivering technical projects, commissioning, and executing critical data center infrastructure (power, cooling, firefighting, structured cabling, hardware transfers) as a Project Manager or Field Engineer. You will also have the opportunity to participate in consulting, assessment, and certification projects for our clients' data centers, and collaborate on business development and pre-sales activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical projects, commissioning, and execution of critical data center infrastructure
- Participate in consulting, assessment, and certification projects for clients' data centers
- Collaborate on business development and pre-sales activities
- Travel to client sites as required
About You
We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled professional with a strong background in electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering. You should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in project management, execution, engineering, and commissioning of electromechanical installations.
Requirements:
- University degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
- Minimum 4 years of experience in project management, execution, engineering, and commissioning of electromechanical installations
- Availability for travel
Desirable Skills:
- Experience and knowledge in IT infrastructure equipment (racks, structured cabling, PDUs)
- Knowledge or experience in engineering tools (calculation, design, drawing, etc.)
- Experience in critical infrastructure and/or data center projects
- Experience in commissioning, migration, and transfer of data centers
- Certifications in data center operations
- Proficiency in English and Spanish
