We are seeking a Senior Lead SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) for an international project with a major client. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience. Typically, 7+ years of related experience or 5+ years of related experience with a Master's degree, 4 years of experience with software engineering/development, excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience with Unix/Linux (shell), Windows Server, and scripting, and experience evaluating, deploying, operating, and troubleshooting various open-source tools. Experience with SRE or DevOps engineering practices is preferred. Additional desired qualifications include experience operating, designing, and building large-scale, production-grade systems, understanding large-scale private cloud/data center networking, and experience leveraging Git-based (GitHub) source control including feature branching strategies. Automation experience with Ansible, Puppet, Salt, or Chef, and orchestration experience with Morpheus, Anthos, Terraform are also desired. Familiarity with Jira, Jenkins, GitHub, or similar development tools, and experience with Kubernetes, Open Shift, VMware, Kafka, AI Ops, and Instrumentation technologies are also preferred.
