At Vèringer Engineering, we are committed to innovation and sustainability. We collaborate with leading companies to tackle climate change, and we are looking for a Senior Extra High Voltage Electrical Engineer to lead our electrical discipline for specific projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and calculation of EHV substations (from 66kV), AIS and GIS type.
  • Design and calculation of distribution and transmission lines (from 66kV), aerial and underground type.
  • Design of EHV electrical protection systems.
  • Design of EHV protection and control systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Industrial Engineering specialized in Electrical.
  • At least 10 years of experience in companies specializing in providing engineering services for Extra High Voltage installations.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the design of Extra High Voltage installations, including AIS (Air-Insulated Substations), GIS (Gas-Insulated Substations), distribution and transmission lines, as well as protection and control systems.
  • Knowledge of software: ETAP, EMTP ATP, AUTOCAD.
  • Fluent in English (Fluent in Portuguese well valued).
