About the Role

Vèringer Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Senior Extra High Voltage Electrical Engineer to lead engineering activities in the electrical discipline for specific projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and calculating EHV substations, distribution and transmission lines, and electrical protection systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and calculation of EHV substations (from 66kV), AIS and GIS type
  • Distribution and transmission lines (from 66kV), aerial and underground type
  • EHV electrical protection system
  • EHV protection and control system
  • Availability and experience concerning design of MV and LV systems as well
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Industrial Engineering specialized in Electrical
  • At least 10 years of experience in companies specializing in providing engineering services for Extra High Voltage installations
  • Design Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in the design of Extra High Voltage installations, including AIS (Air-Insulated Substations), GIS (Gas-Insulated Substations), distribution and transmission lines, as well as protection and control systems
  • Knowledge of software: ETAP, EMTP ATP, AUTOCAD
  • Fluent in English (Fluent in Portuguese well valued)
