About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Treasury FX Trader to join our Central Desk of Ebury Group Treasury. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing risk, quoting FX cash prices, and executing cash market orders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Risk-manage the order book effectively, ensuring maximum profitability in a controlled and scalable manner.
  • Develop strong relationships with the dealing floor across the globe to provide the best FX pricing alternative.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for pricing issues and incidents arising with hedging relationships.
  • Generate detailed MI reports on the P&L of those relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with Dealing, Product, and Treasury teams to develop opportunities and capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities and propose changes to contracts with Ebury's banking partners.

Requirements

  • A minimum 2 years' experience as an FX trader or in dealing support execution roles in a fintech or bank.
  • A degree in economics or quantitative fields is highly valued, as well as CFA qualifications.
  • IT FO platform skills experience is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building cross-functional relationships.
  • High level of Microsoft Excel/Google sheet proficiency.
