The FP&A Director plays a critical role in driving business growth and success at Beam Suntory. This position is responsible for leading the development and implementation of financial planning and analysis strategies across the International Region.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Regional ownership of monthly business reviews with business units and reporting and analysis of financial results to Corporate.
  • Regional ownership of annual budgeting and 3-year operating plan process.
  • Preparation and delivery of key presentations to senior management, Corporate, or SHD.
  • Provide finance partnership to International Marketing Team.
  • Lead Region Center of Excellence (CoE) and drive continual improvement and simplification of reporting and planning processes and systems, leveraging S&OP.
  • Support personal development of FP&A team, including both direct reports and BU FP&A teams.
  • Lead/support ad-hoc projects.

  • Strong Financial Acumen: Demonstrates a broad business skill set, good strategic perspective, and a mature and practical mindset, along with excellent financial modelling skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to execute structured analyses.
  • Communication Skills: Effectively tailors communication across a variety of audiences, both written and oral.
  • Commercial Acumen: Demonstrable ability to develop and leverage deep business acumen and quickly grasp concepts.
  • Agility: Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in a wide range of situations.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to produce high-quality accurate output, with particular attention to fine, small details.
  • Forward Thinking: Challenges the status quo and proactively and creatively identifies opportunities for improvement.
  • Self-Motivated: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you are required to take ownership of business results and drive for growth.
