About the Role

The IoT Developer will be part of the Factory of the Future / Industry 4.0 team at Magna Mechatronics, supporting the digitalization strategy across the Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new techniques to connect legacy equipment to modern infrastructure
  • Manage code deployments, fixes, updates and related processes
  • Create IoT applications that run on-premises and in the cloud
  • Support creation of technical guidelines, standards and templates for digitalization projects
  • Interface with corporate and support divisions to implement digitalization projects
  • Develop KPIs, metrics, and other monitoring tools to track I4.0 production environments
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Security, Information Systems, or equivalent proof of baseline knowledge
  • 3+ years experience in software development
  • Experience with programming languages (e.g. Python, C#, JavaScript, C++)
  • Ability to write code to interact with UNS services
