The mission of the Tender and Purchasing Coordinator Officer is to oversee purchasing and tendering activities at CRAG, ensuring compliance with established procedures, policies, and regulations. This role plays a crucial part in negotiating with suppliers, advising users on tender planning, and maintaining a collaborative knowledge-sharing environment. Additionally, the officer contributes to the improvement of work methods, processes, and overall efficiency in purchasing and tendering.

The key responsibilities of this position include:
• Planning and coordinating purchasing and tendering department activities, ensuring adherence to procedures and policies.
• Preparing tender documents according to the Public Procurement Law and publishing them in the Contractor's Profile and other official bulletins.
• Supervising contract compliance and tracking indicators for the purchasing and tendering unit.
• Ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations related to purchasing and tendering.
• Managing and coordinating center tenders, facilitating knowledge sharing among team members.
• Evaluating negotiation strategies with suppliers and conducting market analysis.
• Advising users on tender planning and obtaining necessary permits for sample import/export.
• Maintaining the ERP product database and contributing to warehouse control.
• Collaborating with institutions to improve work methods and processes.
• Requirements for this position include a university degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent. Additionally, knowledge of the Public Procurement Services Platform of the Catalan Government and the public register of contracts is required. The ideal candidate should have 3-4 years of related work experience and proficiency in SAP business one. Experience in a research institute, particularly in a CERCA center, is highly valued. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in at least Catalan, Spanish, and English. Key skills for this role include strong coordination and negotiation skills, organizational and communication skills, database management and analytical skills, and problem-solving ability. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and digital envelope and telematics procedures is also necessary. The working conditions for this position include a permanent contract, full-time work, remuneration based on experience and qualifications, and opportunities for teleworking and flexible working hours.
