About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Back-End Technical Lead to join our team at Sportradar. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for leading and guiding our team to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and guide a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Collaborate with business analysts, other leaders, and engineers to create the best product for our customers
  • Analyze the scope of Product Team initiatives and coordinate with other squads to estimate, map dependencies, plan sprints, resolve blockers, and ensure timely release to market
  • Work on the design and architecture of our software and hands-on on critical tasks
  • Ensure team efficiency and high-quality work: enforce tech excellence, tech debt management, and regular adjustment of processes and timelines in line with continuous improvement philosophy
  • Coach engineers to grow in a professional and personal way
  • Think critically about the long-term career development of team members
Requirements
  • Strong technical leadership experience
  • Appreciation for engineering best practices and quality over quantity of work
  • Proficiency level in.NET and React
  • Extensive professional experience in software development, working on robust, complex systems that serve a high volume of users
  • Knack for effective and clear communication in all circumstances
  • Possession of a growth mindset and passion for bringing great products into our world through collaboration and ingenuity
