About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Trial Vendor Manager to join our team at IQVIA. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our clinical trials by managing vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of services.
  • Protocol Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine clinical trial protocols, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and vendor capabilities.
  • Vendor Selection and Sourcing: Lead the vendor selection and sourcing process, ensuring the best vendors are selected for each clinical trial.
  • Financial Management: Oversee financial aspects of clinical trials, including budgeting, forecasting, and vendor contract management.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure seamless execution of clinical trials, including vendor management, site management, and data management.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and IQVIA's quality standards, identifying and mitigating risks as needed.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including clinical operations, project management, and quality assurance teams, as well as external stakeholders, including vendors and sites.

Requirements:

  • Regulatory Expertise: Deep knowledge of clinical research regulations, including GCP and ICH guidelines, with the ability to apply them in a practical setting.
  • Therapeutic Wisdom: A broad understanding of clinical protocols and therapeutic areas, ensuring meticulous attention to detail in every aspect of the role.
  • Financial Acuity: A strong grasp of project finances, with the ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively.
  • Communication Virtuoso: Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with a flair for engaging and inspiring others.
  • Organizational Mastery: Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership Qualities: Influential leadership skills, including negotiation, decision-making, and the ability to mentor and foster knowledge sharing.
  • Tech Savviness: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to embrace new technologies that enhance vendor service delivery.
  • Collaborative Spirit: The ability to forge strong working relationships across diverse teams and cultures, with a commitment to collaboration and innovation.
