About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Demand Planner to join our team at Essity Ab. As a Demand Planner, you will play a critical role in obtaining demand volume validated by all business teams.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze historical demand and filter out outliers to identify the most appropriate statistical forecasting algorithm.
  • Enrich the base statistical forecast with accurate and timely market intelligence data.
  • Execute the local S&OP process and facilitate monthly Demand Review Meetings.
  • Act as the local interface to the central demand planning hub and work within the framework of the global demand planning processes.
  • Generate the new product forecast using historical substitution and like modeling/scenario planning techniques agreed with Marketing and Category Management.
  • Understand the impact of customer buying patterns.
  • Effectively communicate with and engage the customer on operational issues.
  • Drive central hyper-care support immediately after ERP go-live.
