About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Manager Procurement TTH Raw Materials to join our Procurement team at Dsm. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing several portfolios, including Grills and Smoke, Dairy and Seafood, and will work closely with our TTH division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Sourcing Strategies: The professional will develop and execute end-to-end sourcing strategies, ensuring security of supplies and delivering against key performance indicators.
- Build Strategic Supplier Relationships: The candidate will build strategic supplier relationships, driving commercial, sustainability, innovation, and performance initiatives.
- Manage Internal Stakeholders: The Global Manager will manage key internal stakeholders, including R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and commercial leads.
- Negotiate with Suppliers: The candidate will drive negotiations with suppliers, focusing on key identified criteria such as Quality, Service Delivery, Operational Improvements, and Total Cost of Ownership.
- Track Market Data and Intelligence: The professional will track and consolidate market data and intelligence, mapping global supply, import/export data, and weather.
- Provide Supply Coverage and Price Estimates: The candidate will provide the latest supply coverage, price, and savings estimates.
- Manage Improvement and Development Projects: The Global Manager will manage improvement and development projects, driving business growth and improvement.
- Participate in Target Settings: The candidate will participate in target settings and deliver against plan.
- Support Entrepreneurial Risks and Challenge Assumptions: The professional will support taking calculated entrepreneurial risks and challenge assumptions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: The candidate will encourage cross-divisional working and learning networks, contributing to removing barriers that inhibit effective decision-making.
- Ambassador of Company Values: The Global Manager will be the ambassador of the Company values internally and externally.
Requirements:
- Education: Degree from University or College in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Science, or Agronomy.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Procurement, with experience managing natural raw materials with significant price volatility and supply risk.
- Skills: Ability to create, drive, and implement an end-to-end sourcing strategy, experience in project management in a fast-paced, challenging, and multicultural environment, extremely good communication and influencing skills, strong internal and external stakeholder management, experienced negotiator, previous exposure to responsible sourcing initiatives, and fluent written and spoken English.
