Technical Planning Architect

About the Role:

As a Technical Planning Architect at Scandinavian Tobacco Group Tobacco Service B.V., you will play a key role in revolutionizing integrated planning processes. You will be part of the IT Strategy and Innovation Department and report directly to the CTO & Head of IT Strategy and Innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Implement Innovative Solutions: Develop and implement technology-driven solutions that ensure seamless data flow and optimize the end-to-end planning lifecycle.
  2. Evaluate and Integrate Planning Technologies: Assess and integrate planning technologies, ERP systems, and tools for an efficient planning ecosystem, optimizing performance continuously.
  3. Design Data Integration Strategies: Create data integration strategies for smooth information flow across platforms, including Meetis, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
  4. Lead Data Transformation Efforts: Spearhead data transformation efforts for enhanced accuracy and consistency throughout the planning lifecycle.
  5. Automate Planning Tasks: Develop automation solutions for planning tasks, reducing manual effort and introducing intelligent solutions for accurate forecasting.
  6. Provide Technical Support: Offer high-level technical support for integrated planning systems, ensuring seamless implementation and ownership of the APS platform.
  7. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges efficiently.
  8. Engage with Stakeholders: Present efficient system improvements and align strategies with business goals to stakeholders.
  9. Conduct Training and Knowledge Transfer: Conduct training and promote knowledge transfer to maximize the utilization of technical solutions among stakeholders and the team.

Requirements:

  1. Master's Degree: A Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Architect Experience: At least 8+ years of experience in an architect role, particularly within planning solutions and SAP systems.
  3. Advanced Analytics Experience: Experience with advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence in the context of planning.
  4. Data Transformation Expertise: Expertise in data transformation and integration across various platforms, including the integration layer called Meetis.
  5. Planning Tools Experience: Previous experience working with O9, SAP, IPD, and any of the planning tools.
  6. Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to analyze and resolve complex technical challenges.
  7. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  8. Travel Requirements: Availability for travel, including periods of 2-3 weeks consecutively for 1-2 times per year as well as occasionally a couple of days trips to our locations.

Desirable Qualifications:

  1. Certifications: Certifications in relevant planning technologies (e.g., Kinaxis, O9, SAP IBP, Oracle SCM Cloud).
  2. Language Proficiency: Proficiency in Dutch.
