Kongsberg Maritime is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our Global Customer Support team in the EMEA Region. As a key member of our Propulsion & Handling Service Team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional technical support to our clients.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide technical support to clients in the field or remotely, diagnosing complex problems and offering effective solutions.
- Manage complete repair projects on a range of products, including thrusters, propellers, azimuths, servo-rudders, stabilizers, and more, adhering to established quality standards.
- Assist in the preparation of work and collaborate closely with all departments of the company.
- Write technical reports and communicate complex information in a clear and structured manner.
**Requirements:**
- Academic training in Naval Machines or a related field.
- Professional experience on board ships practicing the profession of naval machinist or previous relevant experience in the industrial sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage human teams and resources in variable situations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to understand mechanical plans and electrohydraulic circuits.
- English language proficiency (B2 level) and ability to travel non-consecutive days per year.
