Job Description

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Clinical Affairs team in Orthodontics. As Global Head of Clinical Affairs, Orthodontics, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our clinical strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring the quality and competitiveness of our clear aligner product solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive clinical strategy for Orthodontics, aligning with our business objectives and market trends.
  • Lead the development of treatment planning software features, prioritizing user needs and ensuring seamless integration with our product solution.
  • Design and implement a global education strategy, focusing on new practitioners and experienced clinicians, to enhance their expertise and adoption of our products.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the Orthodontic community, fostering collaboration and driving clinical evidence to support our products.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop holistic dental treatment solutions, leveraging our expertise in Implantology and Digital.
  • Evaluate M&A opportunities, assessing the clinical dimension of potential assets and prioritizing investments to support mid-term and long-term ROI.

Requirements

  • Qualified Orthodontist or Dentist with extensive practice experience in Orthodontic treatments and patients.
  • Strong understanding of Orthodontic clinical protocols and practices, with the ability to translate technical needs to education, training, and software product feature design needs.
  • Existing KOL relationships in the Orthodontic community, with confidence in public speaking.
  • Experience working in a cross-cultural environment, with strong business acumen and leadership skills.
  • Ability to travel globally, with a focus on the USA, Europe, Japan, and China, and regular travel to our global headquarters in Basel, Switzerland.
