**Job Summary**

The Consumer Market Leader is responsible for driving sales growth in the omnichannel consumer markets, developing a leading position in the wider EMEAI region. This role involves formulating and implementing initiatives to leverage the heritage portfolio and brand recognition, as well as identifying product features and categories to enter new market spaces.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement an omnichannel sales strategy to drive sales growth in the Consumer space.
  • Build direct relationships with key stakeholders in the relevant channels, developing and communicating the sales strategy and creating support for Pelican products.
  • Identify heritage products that can be phased into collections to augment the value of the dedicated consumer portfolio and increase its attractiveness.
  • Work with the EMEAI D2C manager to develop a compelling online sales strategy leveraging the existing direct online sales platform and marketplaces.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams worldwide to create and implement plans to increase brand presence, market share, and sales growth across all channels.
  • Develop and maintain coherent price structures to reflect product positioning in different markets, taking into account global price directives.
  • Act as the voice of EMEAI vis-a-vis the global product team to drive visibility on upcoming market opportunities.
  • Work with the product group to conceive and drive the product strategy to capture these opportunities.
  • Evaluate and coordinate efforts with local teams to optimize commercial channels.
  • Coordinate communication of new products or product changes, ensuring proper product and ordering data, product awareness, and product stock availability.
  • Collect and analyze data to develop action plans to increase sales within channels.
  • Monitor sales data on a continual basis and communicate trends and issues pertaining to sales and marketing initiatives.

**Requirements**

  • Suitable university degree.
  • Previous sales experience with relevant Consumer channels (7 to 10 years).
  • Territory or Channel Management Experience with demonstrated consecutive year-on-year sales growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute effective sales strategy.
  • Proficient in spreadsheet, word-processing, Salesforce, and Presentation Software.
