About the Role

Reconocida Empresa is seeking an Electrical Advisory Engineer to join our Transmission & Distribution Division. As a key member of our team, you will work on large-scale projects across the globe, providing expert advice to clients in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct due diligence on electrical infrastructure, including transmission and distribution companies, grid connections, and other energy networks.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigating measures, including technical, commercial, and financial strategies.
  • Inform financial models of electrical infrastructure assets, including technical assumptions and cost estimates.
  • Review and appraise capital and operational expenditure plans for electrical infrastructure.
  • Assess operation and maintenance plans, including contracts and agreements.
  • Provide loss reduction studies and advice on reorganisation and acquisition of electrical infrastructure businesses.
  • Monitor post-financial close construction and operation services.
  • Prepare technical and advisory reports.

About You

  • Degree-qualified Electrical Engineer, preferably with Chartership status and 5+ years of post-graduate experience.
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Sharp analytical skills and the ability to present complex information to non-experts.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and produce high-quality work under pressure.
  • Preparedness to travel worldwide on short business assignments.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office and other economic/statistical packages.
