**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Specialist to join our team at Nutreco. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in logistics operations, with a focus on inventory management, stock control, and transportation planning.

**Responsibilities**

  • Inventory Management & Stock Control:
    • (Re-)Order materials and/or equipment as needed, register them in relevant databases/systems, and provide input on supplier performance.
    • Inspect, manage, and maintain materials, tools, and/or equipment in stock to ensure optimal availability for production and delivery.
  • Inbound Goods and Storing:
    • Coordinate the intake of incoming materials/equipment, check and register for quantity, damages, and completeness.
    • Organize unloading and storage, ensuring items are stored at the defined location/warehouse correctly.
  • Order Handling:
    • Receive and process orders from customers, select, check, pack, and distribute materials/equipment to the required location.
  • Outbound Goods and Transport Planning:
    • Evaluate goods and materials for transport-readiness, including dispatch papers for drivers.
    • Support routing and scheduling of vehicles based on customer records to meet expectations.
  • Systems and Administration:
    • Execute administrative tasks related to material intake and distribution in relevant systems.
    • Maintain up-to-date administration and insight into availability and throughput of materials/equipment.
  • Customer Satisfaction:
    • Manage customer relationships and ensure all requests are handled appropriately to maintain confidence.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Monitor, measure, benchmark, and evaluate logistics processes and initiate improvements.
  • Compliance:
    • Evaluate compliance with operational, safety, quality, risk, and health regulations.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics operations, preferably in the animal nutrition or feed industry.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and transportation planning principles.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

**What We Offer**

Nutreco offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including:

  • An estimated annual salary of $55,000 - $65,000, depending on experience.
